The facelift is a common surgical procedure among men. Using the latest technology and facial rejuvenation techniques, Dr. Macias can take years off your appearance – while preserving your unique, masculine look.

What can a male facelift do for you?

Men have unique aesthetic goals – especially regarding their faces. They want to address deep wrinkles, heavy jowls and an aged overall look in a way that feels natural. When Dr. Macias performs male facelifts, he aims to refresh your face and neck, while subtly correcting:

  • Jowls
  • Wrinkles
  • Excess skin on the neck and lower face
  • Platysmal bands
  • Cheek volume loss

In addition, Dr. Macias often recommends laser treatments to be performed after a facelift to improve the color of your skin and achieve advanced skin resurfacing benefits.

The facelift procedure typically has a recovery period of about two weeks, at which point you will be free to return to work and resume most of your daily activities. During this time, swelling and bruising are to be expected. Dr. Macias will remove the first sutures after five days and the rest of the sutures after seven days.

Why choose Dr. Macias?

He understands the importance of achieving natural results, and will tailor the procedure specifically to your needs. Whether you need a traditional facelift, mini facelift, neck lift, eyelid lift and/or fat grafting, he will guide you through planning a procedure that will achieve your aesthetic goals.

FAQ Facelift

How much does a facelift cost?

Nationwide, the average surgeon’s fee for a facelift is $7,448, according to 2017 statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. However, this will vary depending on your location and the experience of your surgeon.

Am I a candidate?

If you’re in good general health and want to address jowls, prominent facial creases, loose skin, and an overall “aged” appearance, you may be considered a candidate for a facelift. During your private consultation at our Marina del Rey office, Dr. Macias will assess your aesthetic concerns and help you determine if a facelift can meet your needs.

What is a mini facelift?

A mini facelift is designed to address early signs of aging, such as mild lax skin along the lower face and neck. It’s less intensive than a traditional facelift, but still dramatically refreshes the lower third of the face.
