If you want to elevate drooping breast tissue and create a larger, more voluptuous chest, a lift with augmentation may be right for you.

What is a Breast Lift With Augmentation?

Breast lift with augmentation combines two procedures to comprehensively rejuvenate your chest. It is designed to trim away excess skin and lift sagging breasts, while simultaneously improving their size, shape, and projection with saline or silicone implants.

Why Choose Dr. Macias?

Dr. Luis Macias is an internationally renowned, highly trained, double board-certified plastic surgeon known for his natural results. He is a sought-after breast surgeon who has helped countless women in the Marina del Rey area achieve their ideal figures by resizing and reshaping their chests to better fit their bodies.

The Procedure

Your breast lift with augmentation will be done under general anesthesia, which means you will be asleep for the duration of the procedure. To begin, Dr. Macias will create an incision around the areola and extending down the front of the breast.

Through that opening, he will remove excess skin and elevate drooping breast tissue. If necessary, he will also resize and reposition the nipple and areola at this time. From there, he will create a pocket and place the implant, before pulling the skin taut and closing the incisions with sutures.

In general, our Marina del Rey patients take two weeks off from work after a breast lift with augmentation procedure. You will need to avoid the gym and vigorous activity for a full three weeks. Within one month, most of the swelling and bruising will have subsided and you will be able to see your results.

Am I a Candidate?

The ideal breast lift with augmentation candidate is a Marina del Rey woman who:

  • Is in good general health and close to her ideal body weight
  • Wants to lift drooping breasts and enhance the size, shape and contour of her chest
  • Is realistic about what the procedure can accomplish

Internal bra technique

For women looking to undergo a breast lift with augmentation, the internal bra technique is an innovation that can produce superior results. The internal bra technique involves placing a scaffold to add support and structure to your breasts, helping both the implants and the lifted breast tissue to stay in place as your body heals.

The scaffold is absorbed over time, replaced with supportive natural collagen. The internal bra technique ensures that your new breasts are less likely to sag, or the implants shift out of place after surgery. Dr. Luis Macias now offers the internal bra technique in Marina del Rey to help you get the most out of a breast lift with augmentation.
