What Are RHA Fillers?
RHA fillers, also known as Resilient Hyaluronic Acid fillers, are an effective, minimally invasive FDA-approved procedure used to target and improve facial wrinkles and folds, such as laugh lines, frown lines, and lip lines, for a natural-looking facial rejuvenation. RHA fillers are injected through ultra-fine needles or blunt-tipped cannula into specific layers of the dermis in the targeted areas. RHA fillers use a unique hyaluronic acid in a dermal gel to mimic the body’s actual hyaluronic acid. This allows it to adapt to the body’s motion and offer volume and contour in frequently animated facial areas. RHA fillers are great because they don’t make you appear stiff and “frozen,” which other fillers may do.
There are a few different types of RHA fillers that treat different parts of your face, including:
- RHA Redensity: moderate to severe perioral rhytids
- RHA 2 and 4: correcting moderate to severe nasolabial folds
- RHA 3: correcting moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, and augmenting lip fullness
