A revolutionary resurfacing treatment that blends two powerful technologies, Halo can improve a wide variety of skin conditions, with considerably less discomfort and downtime than other lasers on the market.

What is Halo?

Halo is the first and only Hybrid Fractional Laser. It combines non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to the target area to optimize your results, while minimizing downtime. As a fractional treatment, the surrounding areas will remain intact, so your skin will heal quickly. It is safe, effective and virtually painless.

The Benefits

  • More comfortable than other laser resurfacing options
  • Safe for all skin types
  • Can be used on the face and body
  • Patients can return to work in a couple of days
  • Noticeable results within weeks
  • Rapid healing

The Treatment Experience

Your Halo fractional laser treatment will be done in our Marina del Rey office. To begin, Dr. Macias will apply a numbing cream to the target area. This anesthetic, combined with Halo’s integrated cooling technology, ensures a pleasant experience.

Dr. Macias will then administer the laser energy to the damaged areas of your skin. During this process, you may feel mild prickling and a warm sensation. The length of your appointment will depend on the size of the treatment zone.

Recovery

When compared to the five to seven days required for other laser skin resurfacing procedures, downtime with Halo is virtually nonexistent. Many of our patients are back at work after one day of healing. Peeling will occur on the third or fourth day, at which point your fresh skin will be revealed.
