Etched-in lines, deep facial folds and other imperfections can make you look years older than you feel. Belotero smooths these imperfections away – essentially turning back the clock on facial aging.

What is Belotero?

Belotero is a family of hyaluronic acid fillers that are designed to enhance your facial appearance and combat the telltale signs of aging. It has been approved by the FDA since 2011. Whether you want to correct fine lines or deep facial folds, there’s a Belotero product that can help.

The treatment experience

Dr. Macias will perform your Belotero injections in one of our private treatment rooms. The entire procedure will take between 15 and 60 minutes, depending on the size of the target area.

Belotero products contain a local anesthetic, so the procedure itself is quite comfortable. If you have a low threshold for pain, Dr. Macias may numb your skin topically as well. From there, he will cleanse the treatment area and place Belotero beneath the skin using an ultra-fine needle. He will then gently massage the area to ensure a natural outcome.

Recovery + Results

There is virtually no downtime associated with Belotero. Most of our patients are able to return to work and their normal daily routine immediately after their appointment. With that said, you will need to avoid exercise, direct sun exposure, high temperatures and alcohol for the first 24 hours.

You may notice some temporary swelling and redness immediately after your appointment, though these effects will disappear quickly. The results are instant and can endure six to eighteen months, at which point you will require another set of injections to maintain your new look.

FAQ Belotero

How much does Belotero cost?

The national average cost of Belotero is around $620 per treatment. However, your personal investment will depend on how much of the product is needed, the size of the treatment area, and your location, among other factors.

Am I a candidate?

Belotero is an effective, non-surgical solution for patients who are over 18 and want to refresh their facial appearance. If you suffer from severe allergies, or you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, Belotero is not an appropriate option.

What are the risks?

Belotero is extremely safe and associated with very few temporary side effects. Although swelling, redness and bruising may occur, it should be mild and will subside within one week.
