What is an Endoscopic Brow Lift?
An endoscopic brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, is a minimally invasive cosmetic surgery performed under general anesthesia that lifts drooping eyebrows, smooths forehead lines, and helps remove frown lines. A traditional brow lift uses long incisions across the scalp, resulting in non-preferential, visible scarring, significantly more downtime, and a higher cost.
An endoscopic brow lift uses a small camera, called an endoscope, to help your plastic surgeon make several tiny incisions hidden in your hairline. The endoscope allows your plastic surgeon to see the underlying muscles and tissues in a close-up, magnified view. This is an effective approach because it minimizes trauma to surrounding tissues through meticulous adjustments to the underlying tissues, and it allows your brow to be lifted and repositioned without large, open incisions.
After your brow has been lifted into the desired position, you will receive small stitches to keep it in place. The tiny incisions are closed, leaving your eyebrows and forehead’s natural shape intact while providing a more rejuvenated, youthful appearance.
