What is Pro-Nox?

Pro-Nox is a nitrous oxide-based pain management system that produces a 50/50 proportion of oxygen and nitrous oxide. As you inhale the fast-acting gas before the procedure, a sense of calm washes over you, alleviating anxiety. Pro-Nox doesn’t put you to sleep, allowing you to stay awake through the procedure. How Pro-Nox works

Pro-Nox is a pain management system that delivers nitrous oxide, popularly called a “laughing gas.” Nitrous oxide is a fast-acting sedative that’s been used in medical settings for decades. Pro-Nox is a self-administered pain management system that allows you to control your comfort. Just before the treatment, you decide the level of comfort you need, hold the disposable mouthpiece, and inhale the nitrous oxide. It’s similar to the nitrous oxide you may have used at a dentist’s office, except you don’t have to rely on someone else to administer the sedative.
